16 IAS officers transferred: Jayavibhavaswamy is CESC MD

Bengaluru: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the State Government on  Wednesday has transferred 16 IAS officers.

Jayavibhavaswamy has been appointed as the new Managing Director of CESC at Mysuru. He will also continue to hold concurrent charge as Secretary of Male Mahadeshwara Hills Temple Development Authority.

In other transfers, BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) Commissioner  N. Manjunath Prasad  has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary of Revenue Department. Gaurav Gupta has been appointed as the new BBMP Commissioner. Gupta will also hold concurrent charge as Additional Chief Secretary of Department of Industries and Commerce. 

Sindhu B. Roopesh has been appointed as Director of Tourism Department, while Honnamba has been posted as Director of Mines and Geology Department and B.R. Mamatha as Additional Mission Director of Sakaala Mission. Senior IAS officer Kapil Mohan has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary of Infrastructure Development Department and V. Ponnuraj has been posted as Secretary of Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (e-administration).
