20 IPS Officers promoted, eight transferred

Bengaluru, Jan. 1- The State Home Department on Monday promoted 20 IPS officers and transferred eight other officers.

H.S. Revanna, DIGP, Police and Fire Services, Bengaluru has been promoted and posted until further orders as IGP (Northern Range), Belagavi.

B.R. Ravikante Gowda, SP, Dakshina Kannada District, Mangaluru, has been promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Police and Fire Services, Bengaluru. B.M. Lakxmiprasad, SP, Internal Security Division (Centre for Counter Terrorism), Bengaluru, has been transferred as SP, Dakshina Kannada.

Four IPS Officers of the 2015 batch who have been working as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) are promoted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in senior time scale.

Similarly, four IPS officers of 2010 batch of Karnataka Cadre are promoted to the Junior Administrative grade carrying the pay scale land-12 of pay matrix.

In other postings, three IPS officers of 2016 batch, who have completed training at Hyderabad’s Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy, have been posted as ASPs.

Kshama Mishra has been posted as ASP, Mysuru, while N. Yathish has been posted as ASP, Sagara and Sidulu Adavath as ASP, Bantwal, DK.
