Mysuru lad I.L. Aalaap (JWGC), taking part in the 2019 PGTI Qualifying School Final Stage Golf Tournament held at Kensville Golf & Country Club, Ahmedabad, returned with a third-day score of three-over-75 and with a three-day aggregate score of 8-over-224, is placed 21st in the rankings on Wednesday.
Gurugram’s Priyanshu Singh extended his lead to four shots in round three with a two-under-70 on the third day.
The 22-year-old Priyanshu (72-70-70), the overnight leader by three shots, further built on his lead with a second successive round of two-under-70 that moved his total to four-under-212.
Delhi’s Wasim Khan (74-71-71), last year’s PGTI Qualifying School Champion, was placed second at even-par-216. Wasim Khan marginally improved from overnight tied second to sole second, thanks to his 71 on Wednesday. Mumbai’s Anil Bajrang Mane (72) occupied third position at two-over-218.
At the end of round four on Thursday, the top 41 players will earn full cards for the 2019 PGTI season.
