25,000 devotees to be distributed Prasada atop the Hill on July 12

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of First Ashada Friday, the city’s Chamundeshwari Seva Samiti, 100 ft. Road, will be distributing Prasada (Anna Santarpane) to 25,000 devotees atop Chamundi Hill on July 12.

However, the speciality this year will be distribution of Mysore Pak along with Prasada. The making of Mysore Pak has begun at Nityananda Kalyana Mantapa, with 40 cooks engaged in the making.

According to the Samiti leaders Nagesh and N. Arun Kumar Jain, on first Ashada Friday (July 12), the devotees will be feeded with breakfast from 6 am to 10 am, which will have Pongal, Idli and Chutney. The lunch- Bisibele Bath, Rice, Sambar, Palya, Kosambari, Chutney, Laddu and Mysore Pak will start at 11 am.
