Mysore/Mysuru: The 27th National Nirantara Kalemane Utsava, on the occasion of Gokulashtami, was held on Sept. 9 at Kalemane Sabhaangana in Hebbal 2nd Stage here by Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru.
It was a wonderful evening with six mesmerising performances by six extremely talented teams. The Dance Gurus inaugurated the programme.
Students of Guru Dr. Jayaveera Pandiyan from Tamil Nadu presented Bharatanatyam recital. Guru Vidu. Samudhyata and her students from Bengaluru performed Bharatanatyam.
Kuchupudi Dance-Drama ‘Krishna Tulaabara’ was staged by Guru Chetan Gangatkar and Guru Chandraprabha Chetan and their team, Bengaluru.
Students of Guru Chandran Pariyaram from Kerala performed Bharatanatyam. ‘Sarvam Krishnamayam’ Dance-Drama was performed by students of Guru Aarathi Arun from Mysuru.
Bharatanatyam Solo performance was given by Guru Kshithija Kasaravalli from Bengaluru. There were about 60 participants in the programme. Raghu lent his help in sound and lighting. The auditorium was full of an enthusiastic audience and the cultural programme was a huge success.
