Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Rama-sevamandali Charitable Trust has organised the 27th Ramanavami Music Series from April 13 to 22 at Sri Prasanna Parvathi Kalyana Mantapa, adjacent to Sri Chandramouleeshwaraswamy Temple, V.V. Mohalla.
As usual, mornings from 9 to 11.30, there will be rituals such as Abhisheka, Ashtothara, Navagraha Japa and Ramayana Parayana etc. Evenings there will be concerts from junior artistes from 5.15 to 6.15 and senior artistes from the country will perform from 6.30 to 9 pm daily.
The organisers have taken care to sanitise the hall before the concert daily and request the audience to compulsorily wear masks and sit on chairs placed with social distancing in mind. Hand sanitiser will also will be available at the entrance.
April 13 (6.30 pm): Harikatha by Yagnesh Surathkal.
April 14 (6.30 pm): Vocal duet from the popular duo Vidu. Sindhu Suchetan and H.M. Smitha.
April 15 (6.30 pm): Karnatak Vocal by Vid. Kunnakudi M. Balamuralikrishna.
April 16 (6.30 pm): Karnatak Classical by Vidu.Jayamangala Krishnamani.
April 17 (6.30 pm): Karnatak Classical Vocal by Vid. Suryaprakash.
April 18 (10 am): Vocal concert by M. Nishanth; 6.30 pm: Veena Concert by Dr. S.V. Sahana.
April 19 (6.30 pm): Vocal concert by senior artiste Vid. T.V. Ramprasad.
April 20 (6.30 pm): Unique Jugalbandi by Dr. Jyotsna Srikanth on Violin & Dr. Ravindra Katoti on Harmonium.
April 21 (6.30 pm): Vocal concert by Vidu. Aishwarya Vidya Raghunath. April 22 (11 am): Seetha Sahasranama & Sri Rama Pattabhisheka; 6.30 pm: Conferring of ‘Sangita Kalaradhaka’ title on Vid. S. Shankar, followed by his vocal concert as a Grand Finale.
