3-day valedictory of MMC&RI centenary fete from Sept. 27

Mysore/Mysuru:  The three-day valedictory function of Mysuru Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) centenary celebrations will be held from Sept. 27 to Sept. 29.

Presiding over the preliminary meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office recently, District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa sought information about the preparations being made for the function besides instructing the officials to conduct meaningful events on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. K.R. Dakshayani said that the three-day event would feature special lectures by the alumni students of the institute settled in foreign countries, a jatha by medical students from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple to K.R. Hospital among others.

MLAs G.T. Devegowda and K. Harishgowda, DC G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, ZP CEO K.M. Gayathri, Medical Superintendents Dr. Rajendra, Dr. Patil, Dr. Shobha, Dr. Prashanth and Dr. Mohan, Mysore Medical College Alumni Association President Dr. Shashidhar were present.
