Mysore/Mysuru: As part of its 30th Anniversary Celebrations, Bharani Art Gallery in Vivekanandanagar here has organised an exhibition of water colour paintings ‘Nisarga Lalithya’ by well-known artist H.P. Rangaswamy of Mysuru at the Gallery premises from May 26 to 28 between 11 am and 7 pm.
The expo will be inaugurated by K.D. Muthappa, President, Kodava Samaja Cultural and Sports Club, Mysuru, at 11 am.
“Rangaswamy is a darling of art collectors, because of his use of fresh transparent water colours,” says Senior artist and Founder-Chief Convenor of Bharani Art Gallery N.B. Kaverappa, who will preside.
Artist Ganjifa Raghupati Bhat, writer Dr. Majjigepura K. Shivaramu, Nanjundaswamy of e-Biotorium Network Pvt. Ltd., Mysuru, will be the special guests. Artist H.P. Rangaswamy will be present on the occasion.
About the Gallery: Bharani Art Gallery is the first service-oriented private Art Gallery of Mysuru. Established in May 1994, the Gallery is devoted for the Exhibition and Promotion of Visual Arts.
This is the only rent-free gallery with aesthetic lighting and display walls along with bath-attached guest room being offered to the artists.
The Gallery has attained many ‘firsts’ such as conducting ‘Art Camp-Exhibition-Discourse’ of 10 senior-most artists of the State, bringing well-known artists of Mumbai, Kollapur, Sangli, Udupi, to exhibit their art works. Foreign artists from Finland and Australia have also exhibited their ‘Vedic Art’ paintings here, in addition to many other photo and art exhibitions.
