Top-seed K.R. Sara of Mysuru scored a good win over Maharashtra’s Komal Gore in the fourth round of the 32nd National U-7 Girls Chess Championship-2018 held at Tumakuru on Wednesday.
After four rounds, K.R. Sara (rating 1155) has secured 3.5 points and is placed 10th in the rankings.
Seven players are tied with four points. Aishani Pathak (UP), A. Anjana (TN), Lakshana Subramanian (TN), Gulshan Sharanya Potluri (AP) and Samaira Jain (Del) share the lead with four points from four rounds and are placed from one to five in the rankings.
