Mysuru: The second day of three-day 346th Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swamy began with suprabhata puja as early as 5.30 am at various Raghavendra Swamy Mutts located across the city.
The priests at the Mutts performed various pujas including nirmalyavisarjane, panchamrutha abhisheka, pada puja, tulasi archane, kanabhisheka and maha mangalarathi to the Brindavan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
Devotees were seen visiting the Mutts located on Narayana Shastry Road, at Jayalakshmipuram, Krishnamurthypuram, Kuvempunagar, JP Nagar, Vontikoppal, Raghavendra Nagar and other areas in large numbers to take part in the religious activities.
The Mutts also distributed prasadam to the devotees.
Various cultural programmes have also been organised at the Mutts as part of the Aradhana Mahotsava. The Mutts have been illuminated and a traditional coconut frond pandals have been erected in front of every temple.
Meanwhile, rituals in Mantralaya were performed under guidance of Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Swami, Pontiff of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt.
