Mysuru: Nature Club of St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Mysuru, is hosting the Third Philo Model United Nations Conference on Dec.17.
The Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations, where students will deliberate on issues of international importance. The Third Philo Model United Nations will be simulating the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) and debating on the agenda “Tackling Climate Pollutants and Strengthening Laws and Standards.’ At the end of the of Meet, students will pass a resolution on the set agenda.
The Conference will be inaugurated at 9.30 am in the College auditorium by Dr. Yellappa Reddy, a renowned Environmental Activist and presided by Suryanarayan Ramanathan, CA by Profession and former faculty of International Relations at St.Philomena’s College. Principal Dr. T. Ruth Shantha Kumari and Rector Manger Rev. Dr. Bernard Prakash Barnis will also be present.
