Mysuru: About 4,000 candidates appeared for the written test for recruitment of Police Sub-Inspectors (Civil) held today at eight centres across the city.
A total of 4,200 candidates were eligible to attend the written test in the city.
The test featured two papers, one in the morning session (10 am to 11.30 am) and the other in the afternoon (2 pm to 3.30 pm).
Tight Police security was provided at all the centres.
