Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru’s S. Shivleela (Captain) will be leading Karnataka women’s netball team in the 42nd Senior Nationals Netball Championship to be held in Haryana from July 25 to 28.
Other team members include B.R. Surabhi (Vice-Captain – Ramanagara), Mariya S. Sutar (Belagavi), Monisha Manjunatha (Bengaluru Urban), Nageshwari Dhamnekar (Belagavi), M.V. Muthamma (Dakshina Kannada), Pratheeksha (Dakshina Kannada), H.P. Sneha (Bengaluru Urban), L. Sonali (Bengaluru Urban), G. Swathi (Mysuru), Gouri (Dharwad) and J. Varsha (Bengaluru Urban).
Karnataka Men’s Team: K. Manoj (Captain – Bengaluru Urban), Puneeth Kumar (Vice-Captain – Dakshina Kannada), S. Abhi (Chamarajanagar), D. Abhinayak (Chamarajanagar), S. Chandu (Chamarajanagar), C. Chiranth Gowda (Hassan), D. Hithesh (Bengaluru Urban), Prathamesh G. Salunkhe (Belagavi), Sumanth K. Shetty (Bengaluru Urban), Shashank (Udupi), Sujan (Mysuru) and Sathya Devadiga (Dharwad).
L.G. Manasa is the Coach and D.S. Kavya is the Manager for both teams. The teams departed from Bengaluru yesterday to take part in the Championship.
