Mysuru: Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru, has organised the 44th International Nirantara Kalemane Festival at its Kalemane Sabhaangana in Hebbal 2nd Stage on Sept. 29 (Sunday) from 2.30 pm onwards.
Dr. Jamunarani V. Mirle, artist and writer, Dr. Kumudhini Achchi, artiste & Secretary, Bharathiya Nruthya Kalaparishat, Dr. Sparsha Shenoy, Bharatanatyam artiste, Vidu. Lakshmy Vinod, Research Scholar, Vidu. N. Renuka, Research Scholar and Vidu. Apoorva Siri, Research Scholar, will be the chief guests.
The performances are as follows: ‘Geervaana Vaani – Bharathi Mahakaviyin Margam’ by Vidu. Swati Athmanathan, Great- granddaughter of Mahakavi Subrahmanyam Bharathiyar and senior disciple of Padma Bhushan Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar.
Bharatanatyam by Vidu. Gayatri Kulkarni, Artistic Director, Nrityadarpan Academy of Fine Arts, Bengaluru and her disciples; Bharatanatyam recital by Vidu. Manju K. Nair.
Kuchupudi performance by Vid. Gururaju N. Bengaluru, disciple of Guru Vyjayanthi Kashi.
Bharatanatyam by disciples of Vidu. Anusha Varun, Artistic Director, Nruthyathi Kalaashaale, Mysuru and Bharatanatyam by Arundhati Gopal.
