600 Muthavallis of Mysuru, Mandya and Ch’nagar districts congregate at city conference

Mysuru: A conference of about 600 Muthavallis of Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts was organised by the Wakf Advisory Committees of the three districts at a private function hall in city recently.

Participating in the event, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U.T. Khader asked the Muslim brethren to win the love and affection of other communities and live together in harmony. He pointed out that if a person commits a mistake, the entire community will get the blame. He asked people to bear the hardships with patience for a better future. He asked Muthavallis to prevent eruption of problems and further asked them that no child should be deprived of education. He opined that education was important along with economic empowerment for the development of community. He asked the minority community to fully utilise the facilities provided by the Government.

Sir Khazi of Mysore Moulana Mohammad Usman Sharif inaugurated the conference by watering a sapling. Minister for Primary and Secondary Education and Wakf Tanveer Sait, Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep, MLC Jabbar, State Wakf Board Administrative Officer Mohammad Mohsin, CEOSM Zulfikarullah, Wakf Advisory Committee Chairmen Arif A. Mekhri (Mysuru), Zabiullah Khan (Mandya) & Sayed Irshadullah (Chamarajanagar), Wakf officers and others participated in the conference.
