Bengaluru: As many as 6,675 candidates have qualified in the K-SET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) for appointment as Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges of the State.
The exam was held on Jan.13 this year at different Centres across the State, in which 95,201 out of the 1,17,303 registered candidates had appeared. The exam was conducted in 41 different subjects coming under Arts, Science and Commerce courses.
Out of the 6,675 qualified candidates, 3,398 are men, 3,180 women and 97 from transgender community.
The list also has 350 candidates from differently abled category, according to Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Executive Director H. Prasanna.
