Mysore/Mysuru: The day-long ‘Udyoga Mela’ (Job Mela), organised by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, in association with the District Administration at Dasara Exhibition Grounds here yesterday, saw as many as 685 job aspirants getting on-the-spot job letters from their employer companies.
A total of 3,165 registered job aspirants had taken part in the Job Mela, in which 62 companies from the city and outside participated for recruitment of suitable candidates for a total of 4,004 vacancies. While 1,982 candidates had registered online, 1,183 job-seekers went for spot registration at the venue.
MLA S.A. Ramdas symbolically handed over employment letters to 50 of the successful 685 candidates.
