Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep this morning inspected Maharaja’s College Grounds, the venue for the 83rd All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be held from Nov. 24 to 26.
The venue will have a seating capacity for 25,000 people along with separate food courts for delegates at the Scouts & Guides Grounds and dining hall for 300 VIPs at Maharaja’s College Grounds. Commercial Stalls will be set up at the Football Grounds apart from media room and public toilets. DC Randeep has also instructed the officials to install waterproof shamiyanas at the venue for the event to go smoothly.
District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, Gen. Secretary Nagaraju, Kannada & Culture Assistant Director H. Chennappa, Office-bearers Rajashekar Kadamba, M. Chandrashekar and others were present.
