Mysore/Mysuru: Yuvaraja’s College Principal Dr. H.C. Devaraje Gowda said that the ninth convocation ceremony of the college has been organised on Dec. 28 at its Platinum Jubilee Hall in city at 11 am.
Addressing media persons at Patrakarthara Bhavana yesterday, he said Scientist Prof. M.R.N. Murthy will be the chief guest. Vice-Chancellor of University of Mysore Prof N.K. Lokanath will confer the degrees.
Giving the split number of degrees to be awarded to candidates under various courses, he said “in Graduation courses: B.Sc. – 581, BCA – 54, BBA -23 and Post Graduation courses: Chemistry – 35, Botany – 27, Mathematics – 47, Physics – 14, Food Science and Nutrition – 26, Microbiology – 22 and MBA – 33 students will be receiving their degrees. That apart, 11 students have secured Gold Medals and 60 cash prizes.
