Mysore/Mysuru: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) kickstarted its election campaign by taking out a bike rally in favour of Chamaraja Constituency ticket aspirant Malavika Gubbivani on Sunday.
Over 50 bikes took part in the rally from the Party Office at Hebbal to Panchamukhi Temple on Sayyaji Rao Road.
Addressing her supporters and volunteers, Malavika said: “We are getting good response from the general public throughout the Constituency and the good work done by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and AAP’s pro-people policies will be our assets. The sudden interest in long neglected health and education sector by the current administration is proof that they are worried about AAP making inroads. But the organised improvement in both Government Schools and Mohalla Clinic type Primary Health Care (PHC) is beyond the scope of these corruption ridden parties.”
“How can they ever give you quality service?” she questioned.
While giving instructions to volunteers on election team structure and duties, she said that there are only a few months left for the election and they must work relentlessly to bring in pro-people governance.
AAP District Observer L. Rangaiah, Party leaders Usha Sampathkumar, Shivakumar, Harsha, Deepak, Vishwanath Kulkarni, T.M. Nagaraj, Mujahid Khan and others were present.
