AAP releases manifesto

Mysuru:  Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will release Constituency Centric manifestos for the State Assembly polls.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, party’s Chamaraja candidate Malavika Gubbivani said that the AAP has set the precedent in releasing Constituency Centric manifestos, focussing more on women issues.

Maintaining that the AAP was working for the welfare of all  sections of the society, she said that accordingly, the party has released its manifesto exclusively for Chamaraja Assembly segment.

Pointing out that the manifesto focuses on key issues such as Health, Education, Employment, Law & Order etc., she listed out her priorities if she was elected.

Party State co-convenor Shakuntala Damle said the party is planning to contest about 25 seats in the State.

Malavika Gubbivani is contesting as the party candidate in Chamaraja and there are plans to field the party candidates in two more Assembly segments of the district, she said and added that the party is hopeful of putting up a good performance in the Assembly polls.
