Abdul Ghaffar (74), a senior Congress minority leader and a resident of Subashnagar, passed away this morning at a private hospital in city, following cardiac arrest.
He leaves behind three daughters, one son, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Masjid Mayraj at Subashnagar today followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds, near Tipu Circle, according to sources.
