Academic collaboration and exchange: DePaul ties up with Niagara University

Mysore/Mysuru: DePaul Degree College and DePaul International Residential School, Mysuru, has entered into a partnership with Niagara University, USA and Canada, solidifying their commitment to academic collaboration and exchange.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on Feb. 19, at the DePaul Campus in Mysuru, sets the stage for a myriad of opportunities for students.

Under the MoU, both institutions will offer collaborative academic programmes for undergraduate and graduate students. These initiatives include articulation agreements, exchange programmes, study tours, internships, career development opportunities, student recruitment drives, research projects, conferences and other avenues for intellectual growth.

Rev. Dr. Baiju Antony CM welcomed. Rev. Dr. Anil K. Thomas CM, Provincial Superior, presided. Rev. Dr. James J. Maher CM, President of Niagara University, was the chief guest. Dr. Duleep C. Deosthale, Vice-President of International Relations at Niagara University and Prof. K.S. Rangappa, former Mysore University VC, were the guests of honour.

Rev. Fr. Biju Scaria CM, Principal of DPIRS, outlined the twinning programme. Distinguished guests from the Vincentian Family, De Paul General Council Members, De Paul Community, including students and staff were present.
