Accident on Dattagalli Ring Road again: Two Engineering students suffer serious injuries in car-bike collision

Mysuru: Close to the heels of three students being killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a divider, electric pole and toppled on the Dattagalli Ring Road here on Jan.31 afternoon, two Engineering students suffered serious injuries when a car rammed into their bike on the same road yesterday afternoon.

The seriously injured students have been identified as Keerthi Kumar and Suman, residents of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage and students of SJCE in city. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Saraswathipuram 14th Main.

Keerthi and Suman were proceeding on a Bajaj Pulsar bike (yet to be registered) from Vijayanagar 3rd Stage to the 4th Stage on Dattagalli Ring Road, when a car (KA-03 MF-304) coming from Dattagalli side rammed into the bike at about 2.35 pm yesterday.

The seriously injured students, who were bleeding severely and writhing in pain, were shifted to the private hospital by the public.

Kuvempunagar Traffic ASI Siddegowda and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and have registered a case.
