Mysore/Mysuru: Mandi Police have arrested two persons who had robbed Rs. 11,50,000 cash from a fish store on Pulikeshi Road in Mandi Mohalla on Aug. 27 and have recovered Rs. 9.20 lakh from them.
The accused, on Aug. 27, entered Zam Zam Fish Store by forcibly opening the rolling shutter and had decamped with Rs. 11.50 lakh cash kept in the drawer.
Mandi Police, who had registered a case, conducted investigation and arrested both the accused besides recovering a part of the stolen cash from them.
While one of the accused was a former employee of the fish store, the other is presently working there and both had robbed the cash from the shop.
DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and N.R. Sub-Division ACP Ashwathnarayan guided Mandi Inspector S. Nagesh, Sub-Inspectors Revanasiddappa, ASI K.S. Guruswamy and staff G.G. Rajendra, Janardhanrao, Mohammed Khayyum, Kariappa, Prakash, Rathod, K.B. Manju, Raju Saab, Kumar and Manju in the nabbing and recovery operation.
