Mysuru: Acharya Vidya Kula (AVK), Yelwal, celebrated Kalasangama, the 25th Annual Day of the School recently at the Open Air Theatre in the School Campus. Dr. Manik Bengeri, Writer and Columnist, was the chief guest. In her address, she outlined the duties and values to be kept in mind by Parents, Teachers and Students to make the process of education meaningful and productive.
The theme for this year’s Cultural Programme was Samskruti Bharati, a celebration of the Cultural Heritage of India on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Students of classes I to V presented short skits in English, Kannada and Sanskrit. They also performed dances of different States and regions of India. The School choir sang songs.
Mementos of appreciation were presented by the School Management to teachers who have completed ten and twenty years of service in the school, and to teachers in whose subjects students had scored cent percent marks in the ICSE Board Examination 2022. The Secretary of the School Vijaya Satish, Principal B.T. Sarojini and others were present.
