Actor Prakash Rai sends legal notice to MP Pratap Simha

Bengaluru: Actor Prakash Rai has sent a legal notice to Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha for trolling him after he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ‘’being a bigger actor than him.’’

“I have sent a legal notice to Mr. Pratap Simha (BJP Mysuru MP), as a citizen of this country for the way he has trolled me which has disturbed my personal life. I am asking him to answer legally & if he doesn’t, I will be taking criminal action against him,” he actor said.

Rai had earlier called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a bigger actor than himself and had condemned his silence over journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh’s murder. Following this, Pratap Simha had tweeted “Being sad due to son’s death, having left your wife and ran behind a dancer, do you Mr. Raj have any right/legitimacy/worthiness to say anything to Yogi-Modi (Yogi Adthiyanath – PM Modi).”

Simha had said that Prakash Rai was Gauri’s friend and asked where Prakash Rai was when more than 12 pro-Hindu activists were brutally killed? When he goes to Tamil Nadu, he becomes Prakash Raj and in Karnataka, he is Prakash Rai. What would he get with this duality? The MP also questioned the actors silence during Cauvery dispute and said that he should be cautions while speaking about the likes of Modi.
