Admission begins at JSS Polytechnic for the Differently-Abled

Mysuru: The admission (2017-18) for 3-year Diploma courses at JSS Polytechnic for the Differently-Abled, located in SJCE Campus in city, has begun.

Announcing this at a press meet at the Polytechnic’s Seminar Hall this morning, Principal (in-Charge) S. Nirupama said that the Polytechnic offers six Diploma courses — Architecture, Commercial Practice, Computer Sciences and Engineering, Jewellery Design and Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and  Computer Applications — for the visually-impaired.

Differently-abled students (both boys and girls), who have passed SSLC, can apply before June 12. However, the application received after the deadline, will be considered while filling up seats that may lie vacant after the admission process, Nirupama said and added that the Institution has excellent Library and hostel facilities and a good placement record.
