Mysuru: Applications are invited for admission to the 26th batch of Post Graduate Diploma Course in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance at Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Siddarthanagar, here.
The 10-month course will start from September 6 and is recognised by the University of Mysore.
Twenty-five seats are available for admission. The selection is based on written test followed by interview.
Eligibility
The candidates should have at least a Degree in Science with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the subjects or B.Sc Degree in Agriculture or Veterinary Science or B.Sc in Food Science & Technology/ Home Science/Nutrition and Dietetics/Food and Nutrition/Food Science and Nutrition from a recognised University securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent. The syllabus for the written test will be based on the following subjects studied at the degree level:
Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science, Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition.
BE or B.Tech degree is not eligible for this course.
Interested candidates may obtain the application forms from the Director, DFRL, Siddarthanagar, Mysuru – 570011 on payment of Rs. 100 by Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Director, DFRL, Mysuru.

Last date for receipt of filled-in application is Aug. 21. Written test will be held on Aug. 24; first selection list on Aug. 24; second selection list on Sept.5. Classes commence from Sept.6.
