Mysuru: The Department of Social Welfare has invited applications from SC/ST students who are studying from 5th standard to degree courses for admission to student hostels in K.R. Nagar, Saligrama and Hosur.

Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications from students of Backward Classes, SC and ST communities studying from 5th to 10th standard for admission to hostels in Beerihundi, Siddaramanahundi and Vidyaranyapuram.
Applications are also invited for admission to Basavanapura Ashrama School from students studying from 1st to 4th standard.

Backward Classes Welfare Dept. has also invited applications from students of the community studying from 5th to 10th standard for admission to student hostels in Hosa Agrahara, Berya, Haradanahalli, Hanasoge, Mirle, Melur and K.R.
