Mysuru: Applications are invited for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma Course in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance at Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Mysuru. The 10-month course, recognised by the University of Mysore, starts from Sept.3. Twenty-five seats are available for admission and selection is based on written test followed by an interview.
The candidate should have at least a Degree in Science with Chemistry/ Biochemistry as one of the subjects or B.Sc Degree in Agriculture or Veterinary Science or B.Sc in Food Science & Technology/ Home Science/Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Science and Nutrition from a recognised University securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent.
The syllabus for the written test will be based on the following subjects studied at the degree level. BE or B.Tech degree is not eligible for this course. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science, Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition.

The filled-in applications must be submitted with photocopies of testimonials and a Demand Draft for Rs.100 drawn in favour of “The Director, DFRL, Mysore” payable at Mysore.
Last date for submission of completed application forms is Aug.23. Written test and interview will be held on Aug. 28.
