The University of Madras has invited applications from eligible students for admission to MA, M.Phil (Kannada) Regular Courses conducted by the University. BA / B.Sc / B.Com / BBM Graduates, who have studied Kannada as an optional subject or studied Kannada as a first or second language, can apply for Kannada MA course. Those admitted to the course will become eligible for Rs.2,500 monthly scholarship given by Kannada Development Authority of the Government of Karnataka and annual financial assistance of Rs.5,000 by Karnataka Sangha of Chennai.
