Mysore/Mysuru: With admissions to Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) for the academic year 2020-21 (July cycle) having begun, the KSOU is admitting eligible students from SC/ST communities upon payment of admission and skill development fees, which will be later reimbursed by Social Welfare Department.
Such students are requested to contact SC/ST Cell of KSOU along with all necessary documents and apply online before Oct. 10 or before Oct. 20 with a fine of Rs. 100 or before Oct. 29 with a late fee of Rs. 200, according to a press release.
Government CPC Polytechnic, Mysuru, has invited applications for admission to second year Diploma through lateral entry for students who have passed ITI or 2nd PU (Science or Technical subjects), for the academic year 2020-21. Applications can be submitted directly at the office or online from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6. Students who have passed SSLC or equivalent course and have already submitted applications online for admission to first year Diploma can contact the office for availability of remaining seats before Sept. 30. Government Maharani Teachers Training Institute too has invited applications for admission to Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course (both Kannada and English medium) for the academic year 2020-21.
