Adulterated laddus supplied to Ayodhya Ram Mandir?

Ayodhya: Close on the heels of the Andhra Pradesh Government’s statement that beef tallow may have been used in the making of Tirupati laddu when the previous Government was in power, speculations are doing the rounds that adulterated laddus may have been supplied to Ram Mandir at Ayodhya too.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board had supplied one lakh laddus to Ayodhya when the Balak Ram Pratishtapana took place in January this year. Now months later, doubts have surfaced whether these laddus were free of any adulteration, with the Ram Mandir Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das expressing suspicions over the purity of ghee used in laddu making.

Alleging that the Prasada adulteration is an international conspiracy to defame the Ram Mandir, Das wanted the Government to take the attack on Sanatana Dharma seriously.

Alleging that the ghee used in the making of laddus may be severely adulterated with the use of beef tallow and fish oil, he said, he had suspected the adulteration years ago and had even wrote to the Authorities and the Ram Mandir Trust Board in this regard.

He also urged the Government to safeguard the sentiments of crores of devotees by ensuring that such adulteration do not recur in the future.
