AGM of Muslim Co-op. Bank held in city

Mysuru: The 109th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Muslim Co-operative Bank Ltd., was held at its Head Office on New Sayyaji Rao Road here recently.

Bank President and former Corporator K.C. Showkath Pasha presided over the meeting.

On the occasion, some senior shareholders of the Bank, including former Vice-Chancellor of Yenepoya University, Mangaluru, Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed, were honoured. Children of shareholders who excelled in II PUC and SSLC were given scholarship.

Showkath Pasha, who presented the report for the year 2023-24, said that the Bank has earned a profit of Rs. 2.12 crore in the year 2023-24 and later declared a Dividend of 22% for the year 2023-24.

Former Minister and MLA Tanveer Sait, gave some valuable suggestion for the development of the Bank.

The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Book of Quran by Moulana Hafiz Mohamed Salim Ulla. Director of the Bank Abdul Rahman Shariff welcomed the gathering.

Incharge Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Moohamed Khaleel Ulla Shariff and Director Rahmath Ulla Shariff read the names of those feted.

Director of the Bank Mohamed Akram Shan proposed a vote of thanks. Former President of the Bank Dr. Abdul Ravoof, Vice- President Gulam Rabbani and other Directors of the Bank were also present on the occasion.
