The Department of Audiology at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), as part of ‘World Hearing Day’, is conducting a workshop on ‘Fine tuning of digital hearing aids for individuals with hearing impairment’ on Mar. 3 at the JC Block of the Department here. Digital hearing aid users are invited to participate in the workshop which aims to provide information on care, use, trouble shooting of digital hearing aids, solving simple problems faced with digital hearing aids and recent advances in hearing aid technology. Another objective of the programme is to fine tune their digital hearing aids as per their requirement. The workshop will be conducted in two batches — 9.15 am to 1.15 pm and 1.30 pm to 5.15 pm . Digital hearing aid users interested in participating may register by Feb. 28 through Ph: 0821-2502576 between 9.30 am and 5 pm or at the premises or by post or via e-mail: aud_aiish@yahoo.com, according to a press release AIISH.
