AIISH phone-in on “Use of Technology in Speech and Hearing”

Mysore/Mysuru: All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, has organised a Facebook live Phone-in on “Use of Technology in Speech and Hearing” on Nov. 26 between 2 pm and  3 pm.

Use of sophisticated tools and gadgets for rehabilitation of communication disorders are one of the major progresses of technology. Listening and speaking devices, Assistive listening devices, Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices, user-friendly computer programmes,  have been providing immense support to persons with communication disorders.

In every new phase, with an update in the technology comes a more advanced product. Such products are the need of the hour in the field of rehabilitation of persons with communication disorders.

This live phone-in programme will focus on the use and importance of technology in the field of speech and hearing while rehabilitating individuals with communication disorders.
