Top-seed Mustafa M. Raja (KAR) and third seed Jyoshitha Kumar (TN) hogged the limelight by winning the U-12 boys & girls singles titles respectively at Manasarowar Pushkarni Vidyashram Cup-2017 AITA Talent Series organised by Nagaraj Tennis Centre at the SJCE Courts here yesterday.
Local lad Mustafa M. Raja continued to dominate the proceedings in the U-12 boys final when he beat unseeded Telangana lad Mutyala C. Vineeth 6-2, 6-4 to clinch the title. In the girls U-12 final, Jyoshitha Kumar of Tamil Nadu came back from behind after losing the first set 3-6 and went on to win the next two 6-2, 10-6 against second seeded Karnataka girl Kanishka Shreeshree, and clinched the title.
The prizes to the winners were given away by Sudha Shivaswamy of Manasarowar Pushkarni Vidyashram School, Mysuru.
