Mysuru: Rotary Mysore, in association with Sneha Kiran Spastic Society, will be celebrating World Disabled Day at Mysore Sports Club by holding a fund-raiser event for the special school on Dec. 3 from 6 pm onwards.

Sneha Kiran of Mysore Spastic Society is a non-profit organisation established in 2002 by a group of philanthropists, professionals, volunteers, and parents of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) to cater to the needs of children with CP.

Sneha Kiran now functions at the new disabled-friendly building at Bogadi, offering its rehabilitation services to over 80 special children. The organisation is supported wholly by donations from well-wishers of the Spastics Society.

As part of World Disability Day, Rotary Mysore has organised an entertainment programme titled Dashavataram, a dance-drama by Special Children of Sneha Kiran in collaboration with the students of Shri Ganesha Sangeetha Nrityalaya Charitable Trust).

Choreography and Direction are by Natyavidushi Arathi Arun and melodious tunes by JB Musicals. Entry to the programme is through donor pass.
