Mysore/Mysuru: The auspicious ‘Aksharabhyasa and Vidyarambha’ programme was organised by Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra in Vijayanagar 4th Stage here on May 29.
The ceremony began at 8.15 am with Saraswati homa which was conducted in the presence of all parents under the guidance of two priests and was concluded with offering of Purnaahuthi by Sarvajayananda Maharaj.
Later the Swamiji was accorded a Poornakumba Swagatha. The stage function started with Deepaprajwalana followed by Saraswathi Vandana.
The invocation song was rendered by Bhagyashree. Pradhan Acharya Anitha welcomed. Later, Gajanana Londhe, Executive Director of Samvit Research Foundation, Bengaluru, delivered the keynote address on activities of Rashtrotthana Parishath and Panchamukhi Shikshana. He urged the parents to join their hands with Rashtrotthana in the upbringing of children.
Sarvajayananda Maharaj of Ramakrishna Ashram, Mysuru, guided pre-kg and Lkg children with regard to the procedure of Aksharabhyasa and blessed the newly admitted children from UKG to grade 6 by rendering Vidyarambha Pratama Pata.
Mallaraje Urs, Secretary, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Vijayanagar, presided. Punith, Committee Member of RVK, Vijayanagar, was present. Mamatha proposed a vote of thanks. Ratna compered.
