Alcohol-free month at Green Hotel

Mysuru: Having an alcohol-free month can help to get the new year off to a great start and is a good opportunity to reset our drinking habits after the indulgence of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Addressing a press conference yesterday at The Green Hotel premises here, Hotel’s Director and Founder of Charities Advisory Trust in UK Dame Hilary Blume said, “The hotel is coming up with a new concept of Alcohol-free Month  during February. The concept is already in vogue and has been adopted in United Kingdom, where January was declared as Alcohol-free Month. This endeavour is an effort to encourage people not to drink alcohol for one whole month.”

She further said, “in an effort to give Mysureans a health boost, we have come up with a concept of  introducing fruits and vegetable-based mocktails for the month of February in our drink menu along with our regular food menu.”
