Alhaj B. Ilyas Ahmed (86), Founder and President of Hilal Education Society, former Pradhan of Gargeshwari Mandal Panchayat and a Senior Congress leader, passed away today.
A resident of Gargeshwari in T. Narasipur taluk, he leaves behind three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at 9.30 pm today followed by burial at Gargeshwari burial grounds.
