Authority collects Rs. 117.42 crore from 33,024 site aspirants
Mysuru: The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) will announce the final list of allottees for the 530 sites to be distributed in Lalithadripura 2nd stage in a month’s time.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, MUDA Chief Accounts Officer N. Mutta said that the MUDA had collected Rs.117.42 crore towards the Earnest Minimum Deposit (EMD) from a total of 33,024 applications received from sites aspirants while a total of 55,065 applications were distributed through various branches of Vijaya Banks in city.
Currently, the officials are verifying the documents, after which a professional list of allottees will be announced during the first week of January, 2018. Later, MUDA will give 15 days for the site aspirants to file their objections, if any, before announcing the final list, the official said.
MUDA has also said that the aspirants, who have not been allotted the site, can withdraw their EMDs by visiting the MUDA office during the official hours in case of emergencies.
Mutta said that such aspirants must submit an application along with the original acknowledgement, copy of the Adhaar card and bank passbook. Those who have withdrawn their EMDs there is no need to worry about them losing their seniority. The MUDA official said that the seniority of aspirants was decided upon the number of times he/she had applied for the site.
