Mysuru: Senior Journalist Rajashekar Koti always wore his trade-mark red T-shirt whenever he attended events and public functions.
This conscious efforts to wear red started much later in his career when he was always seen wearing a red T-shirt with beige-coloured pants.
When asked about this, Koti had himself told a group of college students that he wore a T-shirt as it was cheap and easy to wear.
“I get a T-shirt for Rs.200 or maximum Rs.300 and I prefer this as it is affordable, easy to wear and appropriate for our weather,” he had said.
Later when students asked him why particularly red, Koti had jokingly replied that the colour of one’s dress reflects his or her personality. But it is said that Koti wore red as he believed in the Marxist philosophy which only got stronger after he joined Samajawadi Yojan Sabha.
