The Karnataka Buddhadhamma Samiti will celebrate Baba Saheb Ambedkar Dhamma Deeksha Day at Buddha Vihar, D. Sanjeevaiah Memorial Educational Institutions premises in Vijayanagar 1st Stage at 11 am on Oct. 14. In a press release, the Samiti said that Buddhist monks will perform the rituals, following which floral tributes will be paid to the portraits of Ambedkar and Buddha.
Writer Prof. K.S. Bhagawan, Buddhadhamma Samiti President Prof. D. Nanjundaiah, office-bearers R. Mahadevappa, H. Shivaraj, Bengaluru’s Christu Jayanti College Faculty Dr. Kuppanahalli Bhyrappa and others will be present.
