Bengaluru: With the State BJP mired in internal dissidence, BJP National President Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the State on Dec.31.
Shah has convened a meeting of party MPs, Legislators and office-bearers at the party State headquarters here tomorrow. He is said to have asked the party leaders to come up with statistics and details about the party’s readiness to face the 2018 Assembly polls.
Shah, who will discuss the current political scenario in the State in detail, is likely to give important tips on strengthening the party base.
Shah, who had earlier entrusted the task of taking care of one more constituency other than the one they were representing, is also likely to seek inputs from the leaders on how they have executed the task.
Following the important meeting, Amit Shah will take part in the State BJP Core Committee meeting later in the evening, during which he will advise the party leaders on the specific agendas that will be of much benefit to the party in the 2018 Assembly polls.
