Bengaluru: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will kick off the BJP’s election campaign in Karnataka from Bangalore Rural Constituency by holding a Road Show along with JD(S) State President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy at Channapatna tomorrow.
The Constituency will witness a keen contest between two heavy weights — NDA candidate Dr. C.N. Manjunath and Congress MP D.K. Suresh.
Amit Shah, who will arrive in Bengaluru this evening, will hold breakfast meeting with both BJP and JD(S) leaders including former PM H.D. Deve Gowda, former CMs B.S. Yediyurappa, Basavaraj Bommai and H.D. Kumaraswamy, former Minister Govind Karjol, BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra tomorrow morning before addressing the party convention in Bangalore North, South, Central, Rural and Chikkaballapur Constituencies from Palace Grounds.
Home Minister Shah is also expected to hold meetings with BJP leaders from Chikkaballapur, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Belagavi and Bidar to resolve the internal rebellion and other issues in the Constituencies.
