Mysore/Mysuru: A team of Integrated MCA students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, has won the first prize in “Smart India Hackathon-2022,” a pan India competition.
“Smart India Hackathon-2022” was organised by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India. GIET University, Gunupur, Odisha, was one of the host institutions.
The team Genius Noobs and NTA led by Vibha Harish, with members D. Padmaja Preksha, P.S. Abhijna, Pranav Jeevan, Apeksha Rao and R. Surabhi bagged the prize consisting of Rs. 1 lakh cash, trophy and certificates.
Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.
Apart from providing an opportunity to interact with the innovative minds of the country and to network this platform also exposes the participants to several collaborative opportunities. Three teams were selected from Amrita Mysuru Campus to participate in the National-level grand finale.
