Amrita to host Cinerama on Apr.24

Mysuru: Movie lovers in city will be treated to some creative and original short films at Cinerama-2019, the National-level Short Film Festival hosted by the Department of Visual Communications, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus in Bogadi 2nd Stage, on Apr.24.

Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city this morning, Dr. Ramya K. Prasad, Chairperson, Department of Visual Communication,  Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, said: “Cinerama aims to provide students a unique platform to showcase their creative talent and skill in short film making, besides getting valuable insights from professionals from the film industry.”

Renowned Cine Directot B. Suresh will inaugurate the Fest at 9.30 am on Apr.24.

Besides the competition, the Fest comprises workshop and interaction with B. Suresh and a Photography contest called ‘One-Stop-Snap-Shot-Photo-Caption-Contest,’ she said. The College Faculty Sooraj Shankar was present during the press meet.
