Amusement Park resumes at Dasara Exhibition

Mysuru: The Amusement Park of Dasara Exhibition, which had stopped functioning owing to flooding of rain water on Thursday, resumed operation from Saturday.

Owing to inundation, the motors and other equipment of various rides in the Amusement Park were damaged.

Venting their ire over poor infrastructure and callousness of officials concerned, the stall owners and Amusement Park contractors had staged a protest and consequently, the stalls were closed on Friday.

Realising the gravity of the situation, officials of Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) held a talk with the contractors and assured to take steps to prevent flooding of rain water at the expo in future. Consequently the Dasara Expo has resumed in full form from Saturday, according to Vinod Kumar of Fun World Resorts, the contractor of the expo.
